About me

Sarah Perry is an oboist based in Chicago, Illinois. Perry is currently pursuing her Master of Music at Northwestern University, under the tutelage of Michael Henoch. At Northwestern, she is a graduate assistant for the reed making class, assisting underclassmen with their reed making journey. She is also hired through the university to teach non-major oboe lessons. She received her Bachelor of Music in Music Performance in 2024 at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, where she studied under Andrea Ridilla. ​​

Sarah has held principal positions in the Northwestern University Symphony Orchestra, Miami University Symphony Orchestra, and Miami University Wind Ensemble. In 2022, she was invited to play with the Mason Symphony Orchestra in Mason, Ohio. She has played in multiple chamber groups, performing in local venues in Hamilton, Ohio and Evanston, Illinois.

Besides music, Sarah loves to bake and is the pet mother two cats and a dog.
